This week, I’m excited to share details on 12 meetups happening across the country. With so many options, there’s no reason to stay home. 😉
Glasgow looks like the place to be with a mini-conference and a live show from Roger9000! 🤩🎸
Finally, we’ll delve into an upcoming event that’s set to spark some debate: a discussion on the potential risks of the government adopting a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Spoiler: it’s another step towards total state control, resist at all costs. 🚨

Happening this week…

Roger9000 Live: This is a super special event on the 29th. The legendary Roger9000 will play live at the Record Factory, G11 5RD, Glasgow. Before the mini-conference kicks off on Saturday morning, get yourself fired up with some Bitcoin energy by watching Roger rock the house at 7 PM. 🎸
The Satoshi Society - Southampton: Join a friendly group of bitcoiners at The Maritimo Lounge, Ocean Village on Friday 30th 6 PM for food and a Bitcoin chat. 🍽️🍻

Leeds Bitcoin Network: The first Sunday of every month the Leeds Bitcoin Network meet at the Global Tribe Cafe, LS1 6LG at 1 PM. That makes them the first meetup for September and August is over already! 🔮☕️

CBDC’s - The Silent Attack on British Democracy?: The Bank of England is pushing forward with a central bank digital currency (CBDC). But is this really in the public’s interest, or is it just another way for the government to tighten its control? The Legatum Institute is hosting a discussion on the potential dangers of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) for British democracy on September 11th. Are these digital currencies just another tool for government overreach, threatening our freedoms and privacy?

Southampton Trip to Real Bedford: The Satoshi Society in Southampton are pleased to announce an upcoming trip to cheer on the Pirates in their league game against Ware on Saturday the 28th of September.
