We must support our local Bitcoin meetups and bitcoin-accepting businesses; if we all make an effort in our local areas we become unstoppable!

Upcoming Bitcoin Meetups
This week, we’ve got another exciting lineup of meetups for Bitcoiners across the UK:
Tooting Market: An exciting new monthly meetup that promises to make headlines! Check the link for more details about the event happening on Tuesday, the 18th, at 6 PM. Don’t miss out on what we have in store!
Newcastle upon Tyne Bitcoin Meetup: The next Newcastle meetup is on Tuesday 18th June at The Ware Rooms Bar. 6:30 PM.
Bitcoin 101 @ Cyphermunk House: This week - learning to use Bitcoin hardware wallets and why air gapped security matters. Class will start at 7pm. Latecomers will have their limbs decentralised. They encourage a £5 donation or equivalent in sats.
Canterbury Bitcoin: Meeting in Milers Arms in Canterbury. This is an informal meetup to discuss bitcoin and chat. Feel free to suggest topics or agenda items. Everyone welcome.
Bitcoin Glasgow: Upstairs at the back of The Maltman you’ll find Bitcoin Glasgow. 6 PM on Wednesday 19th.
Bitcoiology: Join Bitcoinology in London for a last-minute pop-up event in collaboration with Bitcoin++ and NiftyNei, founder and chief of protocol education at Base58. With extensive experience from her work on Lightning protocols at Blockstream and as a core member of the Core Lightning team, NiftyNei also runs the international Bitcoin++ conference series. She will share her insights on Bitcoin covenants and current proposals.
Shropshire Bitcoin: Also on the 19th, the Shropshire crew will be meeting at a new venue, the Admiral Benbow in Shrewsbury.
Preston Bitcoin Meetup: It’s important to reach out to confirm attendance to this one before arriving. The venue is Fat Sam’s Bar and Grill which accepts bitcoin!
Brum Bitcoin & Beer: These guys are one of the UK's longest and most consistent running meetups. If you’re in the Birmingham area, head along to meet them on Thursday 20th at 7 pm. You’ll find them this month at The Wellington, Bennett’s Hill.
Penzance Bitcoin: Will be at The Dolphin Tavern on Quay Street on Thursday 20th at 8 PM for a beginners Q&A followed by a self-custody talk.
Bitcoin Bristol: On Friday the 21st Bitcoin Bristol will be at The Ostrich from 6:15 PM. With that name, there’s sure to be some Nostr chat.
Bitcoin Walk - Edinburgh: Every Saturday Bitcoin Walk Edinburgh walk around Arthur’s Seat in this historic city. Join them at 12 pm to chat about all things Bitcoin and keep fit.
Bitcoin East: The Wissett Plough (they accept bitcoin), plays host to Bitcoin East on Sunday 23rd 11am.

These events aren’t happening next week, but they’re important to add to your calendar now as tickets are selling fast.
Dirty Coin - UK Premier: Be one of the first in the UK to see the award-winning documentary “Dirty Coin” at the beautiful Bracknell Arts Centre. 1st July.
Bitcoin Beach Retreat July 12–15th. This is an incredible yearly event held in a beautiful beachside spot in Wales. Tickets are still available. It’s an absolute must for bitcoiners in the UK.
