Bitcoin meetups for the UK and Ireland for 15th - 21st July 2024. Plus new merchants now accepting bitcoin.

It’s been an amazing weekend at the Bitcoin Beach Retreat. Huge congratulations to Dragon Bitcoin for pulling off another unforgettable weekend of talks, family activities, yoga, running, beach swimming, networking and friendships.
As we sadly pack our tents away and head home, let’s cheer ourselves up with a look at meetups for the week ahead and see what businesses have joined the orange revolution.

Happening this week…
Bitcoin Surrey: The Pavilion by Howling Owl plays host to the unforgettable Bitcoin Surrey this week. 6 PM - 11 PM in Godalming, GU7 1QD.
Newcastle upon Tyne Bitcoin Meetup: The next Newcastle meetup is on Tuesday 16th July at The Ware Rooms Bar. 6:30 PM.
Bitcoin Glasgow: Upstairs at the back of The Maltman you’ll find Bitcoin Glasgow. 6 PM on Wednesday 17th.
Shropshire Bitcoin: Also on the 17th, the Shropshire crew will be meeting at the Admiral Benbow in Shrewsbury.
Brum Bitcoin & Beer: These guys are one of the UK's longest and most consistent running meetups. If you’re in the Birmingham area head along to meet them on Thursday 18th at 7 pm. You’ll find them this month at The Wellington, Bennett’s Hill.
Penzance Bitcoin: Will be at The Dolphin Tavern on Quay Street on Thursday 18th at 8 PM.
Bitcoin Walk - Edinburgh: Every Saturday they walk around Arthur’s Seat in this historic city. Join them at 12 pm to chat about all things Bitcoin and keep fit.
Bitcoin Derby: On Saturday the 20th of July Bitcoin Derby will be at Ye Olde Dolphin, DE1 3DL at 3 PM.
Bitcoin Bristol: July’s Bitcoin Bristol Social is on Sunday the 21st at Sabor Brasileiro, 25 Gloucester Rd from 6.15 pm. Delicious feijoada, coxinha, Brazilian beef, beer and more. Join them and support this family-owned bitcoin-accepting business.
New Businesses Accepting Bitcoin
OPD is doing some great work for UK bitcoiners. He organises the Penzance Bitcoin meetup and has just onboarded another Cornwall-based business, this time a butcher.

Newlyn Butchers: Bitcoiners in Penzance can now purchase locally sourced meats with bitcoin at 10 Strand, Newlyn, Penzance, Cornwall, TR18 5HW. Visit their Instagram here.
Bee Happy Farm: This Cambridge-based family farm accepts bitcoin payments and currently selling eggs, honeycomb and a farmstead experience day.
Habi Technology: A technology concierge service in central London covering all things smart home, audio visual, security, and they now accept bitcoin and Lightning payments!
Northbound Digital: Northbound Digital is a marketing agency based in Glasgow. Now accepting bitcoin.
